This is of course our great success story. The service started during lockdown and has continued since. We’re conscious that there must be more people interested in receiving meals – all we have to do is find them. To that end, we had the opportunity to apply for a Covid Recovery grant which I’m delighted to say we were successful in receiving. It means that we can supply free meals to up to 40 people a week for the next 12 months which has to be the best news! Maybe some of the meals will go to Ukrainian families.

Braised steak with onions with yorkshire pudding and gravy
