November 12th and 13th brought Congleton’s writers forum, AmDram Collective and friends together at the Old Saw Mill for a series of brilliant light-hearted sketches and poetry surrounding living through the COVID-19 pandemic.

The series of performances from individuals created an atmosphere of laughter yet relatability. 2020 through 2021 brought us all through one of the toughest things- a global pandemic.

We were isolated and this left us feeling very lonely. As we are gently starting to return to some form of normality, this was the perfect review of the experiences we all faced during the difficult time.

Laughter, singing, and dancing represented in such a way that all the frustrating things of the pandemic

were seen in a different light. Thank you to all the individuals who worked hard to create such a positive outlook on such a difficult and trying time. We look forward to seeing you all at the next one.

P.s. The sweet treats and drinks from the Old Saw Mill seemed to go down a treat as well.
