Cafe Opening

We’re closing the cafe on Mondays during August.

Like the rest of the hospitality industry nationally we’re really struggling for staff. You’ll recollect Charla has moved onto greater things; Marina is planning a month’s holiday early in August so we’re rather thin on the ground.
We’re using every avenue we can to find more of the right kind of staff – those capable of supervising the cafe – and as soon as we find someone we’ll reopen. Challenging times!
Of course if you know anyone that might be interested send them to us either call Ruth on 01260 277658 or email us at info@theoldsawmill.org

Xmas Makers Market

The December Makers Market is being held on Saturday 19th December and the Old Saw Mill will be there with their apple juice, cider and cider vinegar. We will be selling our bottles in lovely gift boxes, ideal for presents! We will also have some hot mulled cider to keep everyone warm and cosy.

So why not visit us on Saturday and say hello.

Apple juice sales going well

The Old Saw Mill has been delivering apple juice, cider and apple cider vinegar to peoples’ homes since mid April. Deliveries initially started on a Friday but had to be extended to twice a week due to popular demand. The juice is made exclusively from apples brought in from local gardens so it is organic, delicious and healthy. It contains no additives.
