John Lindley – front man for the now established classic movie nights at the Mill is hosting a different kind of event here at the Old Saw Mill, on Friday 12th April at 2pm.

In a self-written show and new collection, prize-winning poet John Lindley tells the unbelievable (but true!) story of Elmer McCurdy’s 60-year career in death across the fairgrounds, movie theatres and arcades of 20th century America.

A bizarre afternoon of stories, poems and songs to a backdrop of sinister, salacious and sensational projected film and images.

Admission is £8 which includes a signed complementary copy of Dead Men Tell Tales (priced at £8!) or the option of another of John’s collections. The option to purchase drinks and cakes from the Old Saw Mill will be available during a short intermission.
