The Old Saw Mill is a Community Benefit Society which is a not-for-profit organisation, owned by those of you that have joined the share scheme.
We use the shareholder funds for major projects, the key project we will be campaigning for if it’s agreed at the AGM is to buy the premises so that we can spend money on upgrading the building to make it better adapted to climate change.
The share prospectus will be discussed in detail at the AGM on Saturday 1st July at 4.30pm at the Saw Mill. We plan to give you a return on your investment which will be agreed at each AGM. Whether you’re a shareholder or not please come along! Shareholders are entitled to 10% discount on any Old Saw Mill products and are vital to the Old Saw Mill’s long-term future.
The Loyalty scheme is much more familiar to people in that if you pay £5 per month or £50 per year you get the 10% discount on any Old Saw Mill products.
