Many of you will recall that we changed the kind of company that we are from a Community Interest Company to a Community Benefit Society to give us the structure to buy the Old Saw Mill if and when we had the wherewithal to. To that end members of the old company have been offered the opportunity to become members of the new company so they are now shareholders of the CBS, and thank you to those of you who have become shareholder members.
Now the cafe is open again it’s obvious that several customers still want to be part of the cafe without the legalise of becoming shareholders so we are proposing to start a ‘Friends of The Old Saw Mill’ scheme at £3 per month, £30 per annum that will entitle the holder to 10% off all purchases and regular monthly offers.
